Ziqing ZHU Ziqing Zhu PhD, is Chief physician, professor and vice-director of the Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and a key academic member of Shanghai’s ‘Preventive Psychiatry’ professionals. He is chairman of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association’s Mental Health Committee and vice-chairman of China Association for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons’ Mental Disability Recovery experts committee. He has been involved in clinical, teaching, research, prevention and administrative work for over 30 years. During that time he has published over 120 articles, including 12 articles put out by the Chinese Medical Association. In 2008 he received ‘Level 3 Science Improvement Award’ from the China Preventive Medicine Association and in 2007 he received an award from the China Medical Association for his contribution in helping patients with schizophrenia reintegrate back into their communities. He has also been the receipt of national and provincial level awards for outstanding research over 10 times.
